The Agricultural university swat faculty required. application are invited from qualified Pakistani nationals on prescribed form,
available on the University website www.uoas.edu.pk, for the positions of Assistant Professors on Tenure
Track System (TTS) and Lecturers on contract basis in the following disciplines.

Assistant Professor

Ph.D in relevant discipline from HEC recognized
University/ Institution (as per HEC criteria).

Two each in the discipline of Horticulture, (1)Food
Science & Technology, Plant Breeding & Genetics,
Soil & Environmental Sciences, Entomology; and,
(ii) One each in the discipline of Agricultural
Chemistry and Mathematics

Lecturer on Contract Basis (BPS-18)

First Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree
awarded after 18 Years of education in the
relevant field from an HEC recognized
University/Institution with no 3rd division in the
academic career.
Condition of no 3rd division shall not be
applicable in the qualification of appointment as
lecturer provided that the candidate holds a
higher degree viz PhD or equivalent degree
with not more than one 3rd division in entire
academic career.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

2. Attach original Bank Receipt of Rs.2000/- with the application form. The fee needs to be deposited in
   Account No. PK42KHYB5203003004012339 of Bank of Khyber, Allah Chowk, Saidu Sharif Swat or online
   in any other branch of BOK in the name of Treasurer, The University of Agriculture Swat.
3. Application Forms complete in all respect along with attested copies of the required documents mentioned
   in application form should reach Office of the undersigned on or before 13-11-2022 for inland candidates
   and 21-11-2022 for those applying from aboard.
4. The candidate(s) already in service should submit NOC from their present employer along with application
   form.
5. Incomplete application forms or those received after closing date shall not be accepted.
6. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending interview.
7. The University reserves the right not to fill any or all of the post(s).
8. List of the eligible candidates will be displayed on the University website.
9. Errors or Omission (if any) are liable to subsequent rectification by the University authorities.
10. The lecturers shall be appointed purely on contract basis for a period of one year extendable for maximum
    period of 3 years under the provision of Section 11(5)(e) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa University Act 2012
    (as amended).
